New Entry Record at the WSOPE Main Event at King's Resort!

The Main Event (Bracelet Event #14) clearly exceeded prize pool target by increasing up to €5,139,500. The Event counts a total of 541 entries with about 150 ticket winners, who took advantage of the chance by playing smaller tournaments at King’s.

Poker Superstars including Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Hossein Ensan, Phil Ivey, Shaun Deeb participated in the Main Event and tried to win the highly-desired WSOP Bracelet.

Unfortunately, none of these superstars were able to finish in the money. Nevertheless, other well-known players such as Julien Martini, Dario Sammartino, Anthony Zinno, Jan-Peter Jachtmann and others remain in the Main Event. The 2019 WSOPE Main Event winner will be determined on Thursday.

The very first WSOPE Main Event in 2007 was won by then 18-year-old Annette Obrestad from Norway. The only player in the world who was able to win both the Main Event in Las Vegas and Europe is Phil Hellmuth.

The winner of the 2019 WSOPE Main Event will make history for both King's Resort and the World Series of Poker.
